Summary
Designed and built EzBus, a mobile-based Mobility-as-a-Service platform addressing the lack of real-time public bus tracking and cashless fare payment in Sri Lanka - separate Android apps for passengers, conductors, and fleet managers, plus a web portal for administrators, with GPS-based live tracking, QR-code digital ticketing, and an integrated payment gateway. User evaluation with 11 volunteers across all four roles rated the system highly on effectiveness, efficiency, and ease of learning. The project went on to win a Merit Award at the National ICT Awards (NBQSA) 2024.
